About molly
Welcome
Hi, I’m Molly Finnegan—a worship leader, singer/songwriter, holistic health practitioner, content creator, and soon-to-be licensed therapist. My life journey has been one of transformation, growth, and healing, and I’m deeply passionate about helping others do the same—mind, body, and spirit.

my story of hope

Music has always been at the core of who I am. From childhood, I’ve been captivated by the power of music to connect, heal, and inspire. My career in worship ministry began almost a decade ago, and I’ve had the privilege of leading and writing music that encourages others to find hope and strength. But beyond the music, my personal story is one of overcoming.
After earning my B.S. in Worship Leadership from Huntington University, I took a bold step toward healing and transformation. I pursued a Graduate Certificate in Mental Health Studies from Liberty University, followed by a Master’s in Clinical Mental Health Counseling, where I realized that my passion for helping others wasn’t limited to music. I wanted to go deeper and offer support in ways that could truly change lives. Along the way, I earned spots in two prestigious honor societies—Omega Nu Lambda and Chi Sigma Iota—recognizing my dedication to learning and growth.
In my own life, I’ve faced battles that tested my limits. I lost 189 pounds, a journey that taught me not only about physical transformation but the resilience of the human spirit. I’ve also battled chronic illness, which has brought me to my knees more than once, but it’s also been a catalyst for deepening my understanding of healing—emotionally, physically, and spiritually. These experiences have shaped my mission to help others find wholeness in every area of their lives, no matter how difficult the journey may seem.
Since 2019, I’ve had the privilege of working as a missionary at Tennessee Baptist Children’s Homes, where my husband and I pioneered the Independent Living program, supporting young adults transitioning into independence. This work—along with my experience as a therapist-in-training—has reinforced my belief in the power of community, healing, and personal growth.
From 2021 to 2023, I served as the BX Venue Worship Leader at Brainerd Baptist Church, but a traumatic fall that resulted in multiple surgeries forced me to take a step back and re-evaluate. While the physical healing has been challenging, it’s also reminded me of the importance of resilience, rest, and trusting the process. This journey has led me to a place of deeper passion for empowering others to find strength in their own battles.
As I continue to pursue my calling, I’m excited to release my new single God of All My Days in 2025, a reflection of my growth, faith, and personal healing journey.
Whether I’m leading worship, writing songs, or helping others through counseling and holistic health practices, my goal is simple: to guide people toward lasting transformation. I want to empower you to embrace your full potential, find peace in the struggle, and flourish in all aspects of life.
Thank you for taking the time to read my story. I hope that through my music, my work, and my personal journey, you feel inspired to take steps toward your own healing and growth.
